We don't share your personal information with anyone except to comply with the law, develop our products, or protect our rights. We don't store personal information on our servers unless required for the ongoing operation of our platform. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use Ugandan Heat.
We collect several types of information from and about users of our Platform, including:
When you register for an account, we collect your email address and a password. If you sign up as an Escort (Host), we also collect your display name, age, gender, district, area, phone number, WhatsApp number, profile description, services offered, interests, availability, ethnicity, and profile photographs. You may also optionally provide gallery images and video content.
When you purchase a Premium Membership, we collect transaction data including the payment method used, transaction date, amount, and token activation details. We do not store full payment card details or Mobile Money PINs on our servers. Payment processing is handled through secure third-party channels including WhatsApp-based Mobile Money transactions.
When you contact us directly, we may collect your name, email address, phone number, and the contents of your message. We use this information to respond to your inquiries and provide support.
When you access the Platform, our servers automatically record information that your browser sends. This may include your IP address, browser type and version, operating system, referring/exit pages, date and time stamps, pages viewed, time spent on pages, and other diagnostic data.
We may collect approximate location information derived from your IP address to provide location-based features such as showing escorts in your region. We do not collect precise GPS location data.
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

3.2 For Escorts: Your display name, age, district, area, profile photographs, bio, services, interests, availability, ethnicity, and any other information you include in your public profile will be visible to all Platform visitors. Your phone number and WhatsApp contact are visible only to Premium Members. Your email address is never publicly displayed.
3.3 For Clients: Your email address and personal information are never publicly displayed. Other Users can only see your username. Your contact details are never shared with Escorts without your explicit consent.
4.1 We retain your personal information only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law.
4.2 Account information is retained for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal information within sixty (60) days, except for information we are required to retain by law or for legitimate business purposes such as fraud prevention.
4.3 Content you have posted on the Platform (such as reviews) may remain visible after account deletion, but will be disassociated from your personal identifiers.
4.4 Usage data and server logs are retained for a period of twelve (12) months for security and analytical purposes, after which they are automatically deleted or anonymized.

While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security. 8.1 Our Platform is intended solely for individuals who are at least eighteen (18) years of age. We do not knowingly collect, use, or disclose personal information from children under the age of eighteen (18).
8.2 If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected personal information from a child under eighteen (18), we will take immediate steps to delete such information from our records. If you believe that a child under eighteen (18) has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately.
9.1 Your information may be transferred to and maintained on computers located outside of your state, province, country, or other governmental jurisdiction where the data protection laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction.
9.2 Our Platform is hosted on servers provided by Supabase, which may store data in multiple geographic locations. By using the Platform, you consent to the transfer of your information to facilities outside your country of residence and to the processing of your information in those facilities.
9.3 We take all reasonable steps to ensure that your data is treated securely and in accordance with this Privacy Policy, and no transfer of your personal data will take place to an organization or a country unless there are adequate controls in place including the security of your data.
10.1 Our Platform may contain links to third-party websites or services, including WhatsApp for communication and payment processing. This Privacy Policy does not apply to third-party websites, services, or practices. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of any third parties.
10.2 When you use WhatsApp to communicate with escorts or make payments, your interactions are governed by WhatsApp's privacy policy and terms of service. We recommend reviewing the privacy policies of any third-party services you use.
10.3 We use Supabase for authentication, database, and storage services. Your data stored in Supabase is governed by Supabase's security and privacy practices. For more information, please review Supabase's privacy documentation.
11.1 We reserve the right to update or change our Privacy Policy at any time. When we make changes, we will revise the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page and post the updated Privacy Policy on the Platform.
11.2 We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically to stay informed about how we are protecting your information. Your continued use of the Platform after any modifications to this Privacy Policy will constitute your acknowledgment of the modifications and your consent to abide by and be bound by the modified Privacy Policy.
